I’ll give you David Wright. Longoria’s awesome, too, but they usually award these things based on experience, but I’d take him over Youk too as well.

As for the six Yankee fans rooting for A-Rod, enjoy rooting for a guy that has left one organization for a huge payday, then decided he didn’t want to play for that organization because they couldn’t win, although they couldn’t win because they had invested too much money in him, then forced a move to the Yankees, where he then opted out of the biggest contract in history only so he could make the Yankees sign him to an even bigger contract, and then on top of that decided to turn his back on his country to play for another one.

Heckuva a guy to root for.

Ive got a family of 6 Yankee fans who root for him so there goes your theory. A vocal minority of Yankee fans shouldn’t be mistaken for the majority of us.

You would need Chipper, David Wright and Longoria to name 3 to be unavailable before Youk would even be considered for a spot on Team USA.
