It Snowed this Morning!!!

Well…by snow I mean that it flurried a little bit on the way to work this morning. No matter, I’m still counting it as the first snow of the year.

Down in Arkansas people are still wearing short sleeves and I’m positive that my mother is still wearing flip flops. My mother makes wearing flip flops an art form. One time I took her to the Christmas Tree Shop and she came away with, no kidding, two bags full of flip flops.  We walked in and there was two huge metal bins full of various kinds of flip flops. She dove in, head first, legs flailing about. Every summer since then when asked if she would like to go to the Christmas Tree Shop to shop she replies “Unless they have flip flops I’m not interested.”
